There are dozens of walking routes in the area, varying in distance and difficulty, including the GR7! Walk to a breathtaking view!

There are many kilometres of cycle routes in the area. The Voie verte provides a flat cycle path, or are you looking for a challenging climb through the hills?

The Vélosud, a 650-kilometre cycle route stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, also passes through our village

In half an hour, you'll be surrounded by vineyards. Take a wine tour and sample the regional “Blanquette de Limoux”, the oldest sparkling wine in the world.

Looking for a fun family activity or do you have a love of horses? Go horse riding at Lac de Montbel and enjoy the beautiful region from horseback!

Fontaine de Fontestorbes and Cascade de Roquefort are two waterfalls located half an hour away by car. Be amazed by these beautiful natural phenomena.

Sonnac sur l'Hers is located at the foot of the Pyrenees, so there are ski resorts just an hour's drive away!
Monts d'Olmes and Ax-3-Domaines, or Andorra a little further away!

Mirepoix is one of several charming medieval villages in the area.
It has a beautiful square full of restaurants and antique shops.

Visit the historic castle. Walk along the walls for panoramic views and explore the town centre for countless shops and terraces.

These fortresses are scattered across the hills of Aude. They served as refuges for the Cathars during the Crusades in the late Middle Ages.

A little further away, just over an hour's drive for museum, culture and city lovers, Toulouse is always worth a visit.

The Mediterranean Sea is a 1.5-hour drive away, and both Narbonne and Perpignan are beautiful, with many stunning beaches in between!

The lake is a 15-minute drive away. You can enjoy the sun or do sports on the water.
Boating, stand-up paddleboarding, pedal boating, etc.

We have two stand-up paddleboards available for our guests to hire.
Paddling around the lake has never been so much fun! Can you balance and stay upright?

It is a short 5-minute walk past the apple trees to a small river with a small grassy and pebble beach. Fancy a refreshing dip or building a dam?

Another top activity is a kayaking trip on ‘our’ river L'Hers from Camon or Mirepoix. Half a day or a full day, enjoy the gentle current of the river.
